Prices are quoted double occupancy. If you desire a private room,
a single supplement will apply. If you register individually, at
least 90 days prior to the tour start, we will pair you with a
roommate and waive the supplement fee. A $200 deposit is due with
your registration to hold your place, with the balance due 60
days prior to the tour start date. Payment will be by check, made
payable to Active CycleTours and mailed to 5522 Corn Mill Lane,
Powder Springs, GA 30127. Checks returned for insufficient funds
will be cause for registration cancellation.
If you need to cancel your tour for any reason, the following
refund policy will apply:
- 91+ days Full deposit refund
- 61-90 days Full tour refund less deposit
- 31-60 days 50% tour refund less deposit
- 0-30 days No refunds
We strongly recommend trip insurance (available from your
travel agent), if for any unforeseen reason you have to cancel
If we need to cancel the tour, due to insufficient
registrations, you will be notified 90 days prior to ride start
and receive a full refund. If due to a national emergency,
epidemic or other similar event, you will be notified as soon as
possible and receive a full refund less any expenses we have
incurred for your tour planning.
We require all participants to follow all local and state traffic
laws. Bicycles are typically treated as vehicles in all states
and require cyclists to follow the same laws as motorists, plus a
few special extra ones. All riders are required to wear approved
helmets at all times. In addition, all riders are expected to
adhere to the basics in cycling courtesy. · Ride no more
than 2 abreast and only single file in traffic. · Call out
road hazards to other cyclists. · Call our 'on your left'
Each rider's safety is their own responsibility and not based
on road selection or traffic conditions. Cyclists must exercise
appropriate personal judgment and take necessary actions to ride
in a safe manner. All riders are required to sign and submit a
waiver of liability.
You are responsible for assuring you are in good medical
condition for the level of exertion required for bicycle touring.
